Following a meeting with the Science Instrument Command and Data Handler (SI C&DH) Anomaly Review Board at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center on June 19, the Hubble Space Telescope (HST) Program approved a plan to bring the science instruments out of safe hold.

Engineers successfully transitioned the Wide Field Camera 3 (WFC3) from safe mode to operate mode by real-time commanding early on June 21. The Advance Camera for Surveys (ACS), the Cosmic Origins Spectrograph (COS), and the Space Telescope Imaging Spectrograph (STIS) will be transitioned to operate mode by stored commanding on June 22.

The team expects to resume the Servicing Mission Observations Verification (SMOV) timeline sometime during week of June 22
