Description
NASA Headquarters (HQ), Innovative Partnership Program Office, plans to partner with its centers to procure services from Media Marketing Consultants; (MMC) Productions Inc. To produce streaming media for on-line and mobile delivery of promotional video slips, technology transfer marketing, video media, Cyberpitch and develop technologies which NASA seek to license and develop joint partnerships.
Peter Doyle, founder of MMC Production, Inc. developed the Cyberpitch to aid professionals across the technology transfer spectrum. MMC services are unique and design specially towards scientific technology they have over 15 years of broadcast, online, commercial, corporate and university communications. MMC’s strong scientific technical expert’s have strong background and documented production experience writing, producing, and directing. MMC is the only broadband online and mobile delivery system that exclusively serves the technology transfer market by delivering video interactive links, and information combined. The video media created, “Cyberpitch TM”, is a registered trademark of MMC Productions, Inc. MMC has produced and coordinated with PBS, CBS, A&E, TLC, Discovery, The History Channel and MSNBC. MMC work has been featured on acclaimed programs such as “Nova”, 48 Hours, CBS Evening News, MSNBC Investigates, and Biography. MMC’s Scifin.net(R) system consisting of Video one Page, On-line Scifin.net (R), and VPUSH.net mobile system, is the only one of its type in existence anywhere in the world that serves the technology transfer market.
NASA HQs intends to issue a Sole Source Procurement to the Media Marketing Consultants, (MMC) Productions to purchase video media created by “Cyberpitch TM”
This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP).
The authority is FAR 6.302-1(a) (2) “only one responsible source”.
The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12.
Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing, by FAX or E-Mail, to the identified point of contact not later than 11:00 a.m. (EST.) on May 12, 2008. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government.
