Honor Your Administrative Professional

Wednesday, April 23. The Exchange Store will have balloons,
bouquets of flowers, and coffee cups filled with candy to help
you celebrate Administrative Professional Day. Orders for five or
more balloons should be placed at least 2 hours in advance. For

Visit the Columbia Café

The Columbia Café is now open on the 9th floor in 9G41. A light
breakfast service is available from 7:30 to 9 a.m. Lunch is
served between the hours of 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Plan to dine
in the Columbia Café, which features wait service for your

NASA Blood Drive

Thursday, April 24, 7:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., MIC 6. Schedule an
appointment with your code coordinator. Employees who preschedule
appointments will be entered in the raffle for Blockbuster cards.
HUD employees are welcome. Refreshments will be served. Shirley

Mandatory FY03 IT Security Training

Monday, April 28, 11 a.m.-12 noon & 2:30-3:30 p.m., MIC 5-A.

The Annual Holocaust Remembrance

Thursday, May 1, 12 noon, Lincoln Theatre, 1215 U Street NW (U
Street Cardozo Metro Station). The year’s theme is “Honoring the
Bulgarian Rescuers.” The featured speakers are the survivors who
helped stopped the deportation of Jews from Bulgaria during World

Building Power Outage May 3-4

Saturday, midnight – 6 a.m. Sunday. Boston Properties will
perform preventive maintenance on the building’s main electrical
switch gear. Critical areas will be on back up power, but lights,
air conditioning, elevators, water pumps, etc., will be off. To
prepare, turn off computers and empty refrigerators. Ed Hurley,
