BUILDING POWER OUTAGE FEB. 8-9

Saturday, midnight – 6 a.m. Sunday. Boston Properties will
perform preventive maintenance on the building’s main electrical
switch gear. Critical areas will be on back up power, but lights,
air conditioning, elevators, water pumps, etc., will be off. To
prepare, turn off computers and empty refrigerators. Ed Hurley,

WEB-BASED TRAINING FOR CORE FINANCIAL USERS

Friday, February 14 – deadline for completing web-based training.
For employees with web-based training in their Core Financial
training requirements. (This training is required to receive an
SAP user ID. To receive credit for the course, employees must
complete the course evaluation.) To review your Core Financial

SECRETARIAL/CLERICAL AWARD NOMINATIONS DUE

Friday, February 14 – nomination deadline. Employees classified
as secretaries, clerks, assistants or technicians are eligible.

IT SECURITY AND AWARENESS TRAINING

The new “Basic IT Security 2003” and “IT Security for Managers
2003” training is now online on NASA’s SOLAR site at

Employees are encouraged to complete this training during FY 03.
