The NASA Office of Small & Disadvantaged Business Utilization is pleased to invite you to participate in a Training Session on Commercializing NASA Technology, which will take place in San Francisco, CA on April 3-4, 2002. The purpose of the training session is to increase the number of Small, Small Disadvantaged and Women Owned businesses taking advantage of NASA technology commercialization opportunities.

The following topics will be discussed in the training session: – Overview of NASA Technology Commercialization Process – Legal Authority for Technology Commercialization – Identifying Available NASA Technology – Working with NASA Researchers and Scientists – Applying for a License to Commercialize – Negotiating the Licensing Agreement – Developing the Technology Commercialization Marketing Plan – Accessing Financing and Venture Capital Sources – Commercializing the Product – Examples of Success Stories.
