he Translational Research Institute for Space Health (TRISH) encourages potential reviewers to volunteer their information for the purpose of upcoming reviews for the TRISH Biomedical Research Applications in Space Health (BRASH) solicitation. Potential respondents can sign up via the “Biomedical Research Advances for Space Health (BRASH)-Request for Volunteer Reviewers and Suggestions (BRASH2201L)” on the NASA Solicitation and Proposal Integrated Review and Evaluation System (NSPIRES) web page. Signing up does not commit you to serve, nor will TRISH be obligated to invite you to serve on a review panel. TRISH seeks to increase diversity in its reviewer base and encourages new voices among review panels. The RFR increases the pool of available electronic reviewer volunteers and will aid the peer review process to fill reviewer vacancies efficiently, and it will enhance the quality of the review process with the identification of additional expertise. Reviewers also benefit by broadening their own personal experience.

The sign up process is completed through NSPIRES and all respondents are required to register with NSPIRES. To register for an account, go to https://nspires.nasaprs.comand click on “Getting an Account” on the left hand margin of the screen. Respondents do not have to affiliate with an organization during registration to submit a response nor have an authorized organizational representative submit on their behalf.
