Description
NASA/GSFC has a requirement for civility/diversity consulting and coaching services to assist with identifying appropriate topics and strategies that would support and strengthen Code 600’s diversity needs and projects.
Deliverables are as follows: Work with women scientists to address their specific issues and concerns. Identify ongoing diversity challenges within the Science Exploration Directorate. Research and recommend resoures for the Civility Learning Group and the Diversity Council. Bring in experts and authors to meet with the Civility Learning Group. Support individuals who are the backbone, brains and heart of the Center using formats that illustrate different ways of working and behavior. Work with individuals to strengthen self awareness and creative ways to thrive and address challenges. Collaborate with other directorates and advisory groups intent upon boosting appreciation of diversity, respect and inclusion. Collaborate with subject matter experts in the area of Diversity, Resilience and Civility. Host the Goddard Community Cinema showings and conversations. The movies are chosen to educate and inform the workforce about Diversity. Expand visibility of the Civility Learning Group within 600. Keep the Civility Learning Group website current. Explore the following areas within the Civility Learning Group: Follow-up on workplace bullying and harassment; What would you do?; Respectful confrontation; Compassion fatigue; Transitions; Thriving; From Nowhere to Nobels-Women in Science; Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STeM); Generational Perspectives-Millennials in Adulthood; and Partnering with Advisory Groups for presentations.
Period of Performance: Basic period of 12 months (July 2014 – June 2015) plus two one (1) year options
This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, which is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ); quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Offerors are required to use the On-Line RFQ system to submit their quote. The On-line RFQ system is linked above or it may be accessed at http://prod.nais.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/eps/bizops.cgi?gr=C&pin= . The information required by FAR Subpart 12.6 is included in the on-line RFQ.
The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12 and the Simplified Acquisition Procedures set forth in FAR Part 13.
Questions regarding this acquisition must be submitted in writing (e-mail is preferred) no later than June 24, 2014. It is the quoter’s responsibility to monitor this site for the release of amendments (if any).
