Description
NASA/GRC has a requirement for the purchase of display units located at the “Arrival” and “Exit” walls at Cleveland Hopkins Airport, Cleveland, OH. These displays will be used for education and information purposes and will be available to us for a period of eight (8) weeks.
NASA/GRC intends to make this purchase through Clear Channel Outdoor, Inc., 12222 Plaza Dr., Cleveland OH. Clear Channel owns these display units, they have the rights to them, and therefore we can only make this purchase through them.
The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12 and the Simplified Acquisition Procedures set forth in FAR Part 13.
The Sole Source is under the authority of FAR reference 13.106-1(b)1.
Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 4:30 p.m. local time on July 7, 2010. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government.
