Description
NASA/GRC has a requirement for the Black Engineer of the Year (BEYA) Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Forum where three (3) NASA employees will receive awards. There will be three days of events, concluding in an awards ceremony. It will be held in Washington DC.
NASA/GRC intends to acquire this service through Career Communications Group, Inc.(CCG), 729 E Pratt St Fl 5, Baltimore MD. The annual awards program honors engineers and technologists from around the globe. NASA/GRC will benefit greatly from this forum as it specializes in serving the underrepresented workforce. It brings awareness of NASA’s employment and educational opportunities by attracting high school and college students who plan to pursue careers in STEM for its career fair.
The Government does intend to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12 and Simplified Acquisition Procedures set forth in FAR Part 13. This Sole Source is under the authority of FAR Reference 13.106.-1(b)1. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.
