Subject: Status of Procurement NNC06ZPT004R; CRYOGENIC OXYGEN/METHANE RCS ENGINE ASSEMBLY
The evaluation of all proposals has been completed and presentations of the evaluation committee’s findings have been made to the Source Selection Authority. However, recent changes in requirements for the Crew Exploration Vehicle’s propulsion system require the LOx/Methane project to obtain decisions from higher program levels prior to proceeding with any contract awards.
You are hereby advised that no decisions will be made until Friday, January 20, 2006 at the earliest, and that no announcements of decisions will be made before the following Monday, January 23rd.
