Description

On September 1, 2005 at the Sheraton New York Hotel and Towers, in New York City. Dr. John McManus, NASA Deputy Chief Information Officer and Agency Chief Technology Officer will present and lead a panel of Agency experts from Headquarters and Centers on NASA s Information Technology Systems and Agency Enterprise Architecture: Present and Future.    

The three hour seminar is a one-of-a-kind seminar to illustrate current information technology systems, engineering, security, and data processing plans.    

The seminar will also detail challenges, solutions, the business case and procurement strategies for shaping the technology infrastructure of the Agency in support of NASA s Vision for Space Exploration.    

The targeted audience for this seminar is information technology, engineering, and telecom executives representing companies seeking to learn more on contracting and subcontracting for information technology services at NASA.    

Participants will receive the newest version of NASA’s Information Technology Guide for Small Business.    

Topics will include:      

– Overview of the NASA Enterprise Architecture
– Core IT Services: The NASA DATA Center, and the NASA Shared Service Center
– Networking (NASA Integrated Services Network and the Mission Networks)
    – Integrated Engineering Environments: ICE  
– Process Based Mission Assurance
