Description
The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA)/Goddard Space Flight Center is releasing a Cooperative Agreement Notice (CAN) No. NNG14518906C to establish a science center for basic and applied research in areas related to NASA Strategic Goals in Solar System Exploration Science. The primary focus is the establishment of centers of excellence for collaborative research in Planetary and Solid Earth Science and Heliophysics and Astronomical Sciences between NASA, and university and Not for Profit Science organizations.
The schedule for the review and selection of proposals for this CAN is as follows: CAN Issuance on or about December 1, 2014, Proposals are due on or about January 30, 2015, Award announcement/Agreement signed, during Fall 2015. The potential sources are encouraged to submit questions or comments on or before November 28, 2014, via email to the point of contact designated below. Additionally, you are further encouraged to submit questions or comments as they arise, in lieu of submitting them on the last day.
Additionally, potential sources are advised that the intent of this solicitation is to award up to one Cooperative Agreement(s) as stated in the CAN.
The Government intends to limit the eligibility of potential offerors for this CAN to educational institutions, not-for profit, and nonprofit organizations shall submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.
Notwithstanding the posting of this opportunity at FedBizOpps.gov, Grants.gov, or at both sites, NASA reserves the right to determine the appropriate award instrument for each proposal selected pursuant to this announcement.
