NASA Cassini Image: Mimas, Rings, and a Darkened Saturn
This image was taken on October 31, 2005 and received on Earth November 02, 2005. The camera was pointing toward Mimas at approximately 1,134,119 kilometers away, and the image was taken using the P0 and GRN filters. This image has not been validated or calibrated. A validated/calibrated image will be archived with the NASA Planetary Data System in 2006.
