NASA Call for Reviewers: 2020 NASA OSE Fellowship Activity
Hello,
The NRESS contract team is supporting Carolyn Knowles, the NASA Program Manager, with the NASA OSE Fellowship Activity 2020. The solicitation has been posted and the proposal applications are being submitted from students throughout the country. We are currently in the process of identifying high-quality reviewers and subject matter experts to assist with evaluating the proposals. We are reaching out to you to see if you are available for the 2020 NASA OSE Fellowship Activity.
Peer review is a critical component of the decision-making process for awarding projects. Your participation will assist in identifying high-quality projects by engaging individuals with different backgrounds, perspectives and areas of expertise in the review process.
NASA OSE Fellowship Activity 2020
The online review period is scheduled for March 10-25, 2020. Reviewers will be asked to evaluate approximately five proposal about 6 pages in length along with supporting documents. Non-civil servants will receive an honorarium of $50 for each proposal fully reviewed and submitted through NSPIRES by the close of the review period.
Following the online review, a panel will convene to discuss which proposal(s) should be recommended for funding. The panel, which will be held in the Washington, DC area, will last about 4-5 days and is tentatively scheduled for the end of April or beginning of May, 2020. Non-civil servants will receive an honorarium of $300 for each day panel is in session, on top of all lodging and per-diem expense-paid. Each panelist will be asked to review about five proposals online prior to attending a panel.
To best match your expertise with the submitted proposals, we require that you respond to the Call for Reviewers Form – 2020 NASA Fellowship [click on the link or copy and paste directly this link to your browser]:
