On June 11, 2019, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Science Mission Directorate (SMD) released amendments to two solicitations for Astrophysics Explorers Science Investigations originally released April 3, 2019.

1. Solicitation Number: NNH19ZDA011O (Small Explorer AO) Amendment 1- Clarifies/Corrects a series of typographical errors resulting from a misplaced designation for Requirement 97. The AO has 100 Requirements not 101 as originally published.

2. Solicitation Number: NNH17ZDA004O-APEXMO (Amendment 15 to the SALMON-3 AO: NNH17ZDA004O) Defers to Step-2 the requirement for a data analysis plan.  In addition, language is added to clarify that investigations may propose to use small amounts of radioactive materials.

NASA released these amendments to the 2019 Astrophysics Small Explorer Announcement of Opportunity (NNH19ZDA011O) as Amendment 1, and the 2019 Astrophysics Explorers Mission of Opportunity (MO) Program Element Appendix O (PEA-O) (NNH17ZDA004O-APEXMO) as Amendment 15 to the NASA Third Stand Alone Missions of Opportunity Notice (SALMON-3) Announcement of Opportunity NNH17ZDA004O.
