Description
NASA/ARC has a requirement for 64 identical computers of the Intel Pentium 4 class running at 3.0GHz. The Specifications for the 64 identical computers are as follows:
1. CPU: Intel Pentium 4 3.0GHz with 800MHz 478 pin 1 MB tray CPU.
2. Two STT 1GB of DDR400 memory modules installed.
3. 80GB IDE ATA 100 7200 rpm hard drive.
4. Ready/865G/FSB800/DDR400/Barebone system.
5. Shuttle XPC SB61G2V4/P4 Socket478/Prescott.
6. Shuttle XPC form factor: 7.4″x8.0″x11.9″
7. Silent operation to 32 dB under a full system load.
8. Efficient heat dissipation system.
This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.
This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, which is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ); quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
Offerors are required to use the On-Line RFQ system to submit their quote.

The information required by FAR Subpart 12.6 is included in the on-line RFQ. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12 and the Simplified Acquisition Procedures set forth in FAR Part 13. Questions regarding this acquisition must be submitted in writing (e-mail is preferred) no later than May 5, 2006.
(Prospective quoters shall notify this office of their intent to submit a quotation). It is the quoter’s responsibility to monitor this site for the release of amendments (if any).
