SUBJECT: Now Available: System for Tracking and Registering
Applications and Web Sites (STRAW)

WHAT IS IT?
As part of our ongoing efforts to simplify the tracking and registering of applications and web sites, we are pleased to announce the launch of a new ‘System for Tracking and Registering Applications and Web Sites’ (STRAW). STRAW is a centralized, Web-based, agency-wide system for registering all NASA Web sites and applications. This new system will provide authoritative data about NASA applications and Web sites by consolidating the data found in the NASA Application Tracking Tool (NATT) and the Agency Web site Registration System (AWRS). Please use STRAW to register Web sites, Web applications and non-web applications instead of AWRS or NATT.

WHEN IS IT HAPPENING?
STRAW went live on Tuesday, December 8, 2009

ACTION REQUIRED?
To access STRAW, please login using your Access Launchpad (IdMAX)
username and password.

If you already have a NATT or ARWS account, your account and roles have already been migrated to STRAW, so no action is necessary.

If you need a STRAW account, please request one via the IdMAX/NASA Account Management System (NAMS), https://idmax.nasa.gov

WHAT TO DO IF YOU NEED ASSISTANCE:
If you have any concerns, issues or questions, please contact the NASA
IT Customer Care Center, (formerly known as the ITSC or IT Support
Center) at extension 4-2000 or mailto:arc-help@mail.nasa.gov
