Message from the Center Director
Important Notice: Ames Employee Survey
As mentioned in the recent all-hands, I am personally committed to improving work satisfaction and making Ames the best place to work in the Federal Government. As I move forward with this commitment, it is important for me to hear from the entire staff about their concerns by deploying an Ames’ employee survey. All civil service employees are invited to complete the survey. It is my intention to use this data to drive decisions we will make about how to improve the environment of the Center. The survey will come in an email from firstname.lastname@example.org of the Office of Personnel Management. This email and survey are NOT SPAM. For additional information, please see previous centerwide announcement below from Thursday, July 2.
NASA Ames Research Center will take part in an Employee Survey to assess employee satisfaction, as well as leadership and management practices contributing to organizational performance. The survey will be conducted by the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) between July 6, 2009 and July 24, 2009. I encourage you to participate in this survey, which should take about 20 minutes. All civil servant employees will be receiving an email from OPM that provides a login/password combination and link to the survey. Your confidentiality is guaranteed. Survey results will be ready for distribution within the year with the goal of making Ames an even more effective and better place to work.
If you have general questions about the survey, please contact Jeffrey Berlin at mailto:email@example.com. If you have any technical questions about the survey, please contact Matthew Sigafoose at mailto:firstname.lastname@example.org. More information about the 2009 survey administration can be found here: http://www.fhcs.opm.gov/.
Thank you for participating in NASA Ames’ 2009 Employee Survey and for your positive contributions to our work environment and performance.
