27, 9:30 a.m.
As all of you know, NASA is in the midst of a major
transformation that is affecting Ames, and with it, the
morale of our workforce. Although many changes are yet to
come, we must carefully monitor the situation as it
evolves, and determine how best to respond.
I would like to get together with you to discuss some of
these changes and their impact. I am especially interested
in getting your feedback on how the staff is reacting to
the possibility of buyouts and to budget and workforce
projections. I am also interested in hearing if people
have ideas, or are finding opportunities in the current
situation.
Please join me in the Main Auditorium in Bldg 201 on
Friday, August 27, at 9:30 a.m., for this discussion.
These are trying times for many, but remember that in chaos
there is opportunity – if we work together we will maximize
our opportunity.
