Description

DARPA System F6, Technical Area 3. QinetiQ North America, Inc. (Technology Solutions Group) and its partners propose a project entitled, “Space Global Commons F6 Information Architecture” to extend the open-source OpenLDAP package to make it distributable and effective in an embedded environment, including a type 1 hypervisor running on each compute resource allowing instantiations of virtual machines (VM) or third-party guest operating systems (OS), fully integrated network services using IPv6 for intra- and extra- cluster communications, multilevel security component (MLSC) using Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) encryption, and distributed resource management (DRM), allowing module-level autonomy while ensuring inter-module resource management, status, tasking and job control.
