Description
NASA/ARC plans to issue a Draft Request for Proposal (DRFP) for the following on-site support services in a variety of integrally related disciplines, including engineering, systems engineering, design and development, fabrication, testing, mission operations, project management, project management support and proposal development.
The Contracting Officer (CO) and the proposed Contracting Officer’s Technical Representative (COTR) will meet with the interested parties for a half hour meeting once before the draft RFP is released and once after the draft RFP is released.
We also anticipate holding a Presolicitation Conference after the DRFP is released for review and comments from interested parties.
This procurement is a total small business set-aside.
This contract type will be a Cost-Plus Fixed Fee consisting of a definitive core requirement and an IDIQ requirement.
A DOD Contract Specification (DD254) will require that Awardee must have at least a Facility clearance level of Secret.
The NAICS Code and Size Standard are 541712- Research and Development in the Physical, Engineering, and Life Sciences (except Biotechnology) Exception (c) Space Vehicles and Guided Missiles, their Propulsion Units, their Propulsion Units Parts, and their Auxiliary Equipment and Parts) with a size standard of 1000 employees, respectively.
Primary place of performance will be at Ames Research Center (ARC), Moffett Field, CA.
No solicitation has been issued; therefore, do not request a copy of the solicitation. It is the potential offeror’s responsibility to monitor FedBizOpps and the NASA Acquisition Internet Service for the release of any solicitation. Prospective offerors not already listed on the attached interested parties listing shall notify this office of their intent to submit an offer. It is the offeror’s responsibility to monitor the Internet site for the release of the solicitation and amendments (if any).
