Calendar Date: 02/03/03

Increment: 6

Stage: 11A

Week 10

Payloads currently on-board ISS:
BSTC, CGBA, CSLM-2, InSPACE, MAMS, MSG (facility), PFMI, SAMS, STES-10,
SUBSA and ZCG.

Status:
MRPO payloads MAMS, SAMS and STES-10 continue nominal, basically unattended,
operations. BSTC, CGBA, CSLM-2, InSpace, PFMI, SUBSA and ZCG are inactive.
MSG is inactive/failed, awaiting replacement parts.

EXPRESS RACKS 1, 3 and 4 (ER1, ER3 & ER4) are powered and supporting
payload operations. ER2 power was restored today in support of ARIS 3
trouble shooting . ER2 power will be turned-off later today. ER5 is available
to support payload operations but is currently inactive. ER1, ER3, ER4
and ER5 software upgrades have been accomplished. ER2 software upgrade
is planned for week 11.

MSG replacement parts have been stowed in Progress 10, launched on 2/2,
and docking with the ISS on 2/4. MSG replacement part installation/checkout
is planned for 2/5 in preparation for InSpace Operations

InSpace Coil assemblies will be inspected today to assure readiness
to begin test operations on 2/7.

MAMS is operating nominally in the quasi-steady mode. HiRAP is currently
inactive. MAMS data is available on the acceleration measurement web
page.

PFMI hardware and a partially processed sample are scheduled to be removed
from the MSG and stowed on 2/6.

All SAMS sensors in EXPRESS RACKS are operating nominally. The SAMS
sensor in the MSG is currently turned-off. SAMS data is also available
on the acceleration measurement web page.

STES-10 health and status data is nominal. STES-10 is configured with
diffusion-controlled chambers that require no crew operation activities.

Near-term Outlook:

Week 10 (2/3-2/9) – Preliminary planning for this week is being based
on approximately 24 hours of crew time availability for NASA payload
operations. Progress 10 is scheduled to dock with the ISS on Tuesday,
2/4. Transfer operations to off-load Progress 10 will begin immediately
after docking. The MSG repair parts will be transferred as soon as possible
and installed on the MSG. PFMI hardware, and a partially processed PFMI
sample, will be recovered and stowed. MSG will be checked-out and, assuming
all is well, InSpace will be installed, checked out and test runs will
be conducted.
