This is a modification to the the NASA Research Announcement (NRA) entitled “RESEARCH OPPORTUNITIES IN SPACE SCIENCE (ROSS) 2003,” NRA 03-OSS-01, RELEASED JANUARY 31, 2003. You are notified of the following: On or about December 22, 2003, Amendment No. 11 to NASA Research Announcement “Research Opportunities in Space Science” (NRA 03-OSS-01) will be posted on its homepage Web site at http://research.hq.nasa.gov/code_s/nra/current/NRA-03-OSS-01/index.html that establishes a new Program Element A.2.21 in Appendix A entitled “Lunar-A U.S. Co-Investigators.” This new program element solicits proposals for U.S. Co-Investigators for the Japanese Lunar-A Mission that is scheduled for launch in the second half of 2004. Notices of Intent to propose are due January 21, 2004, and proposals are due March 22, 2004. Offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for any additional amendments. Potential offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation and amendments (if any). Further information about this new Program Element is available from Dr. R.
