Description

This is modification 1 to the synopsis entitled Mini-Aercam Communications Antenna Solicitation Number NNJ05113279Q which was posted on May 31, 2005. The purpose of this modification is to clarify that the project need date for the Mini AERCam is not based on the near-term return to flight schedule, i.e. July 2005. Furthermore, the Mini AERCam will not support return to flight or near-in missions. However, the Mini AERCam is a candidate Shuttle Thermal Protection System inspection method. For Shuttle or Station missions, Mini AERCam could support external robotic operations by supplying situational awareness views to robotic operators, supply views of spacewalk operations to flight and/or ground crews, and carry out independent visual inspections. Due to the development schedule for Mini AERCam to potentially support future Shuttle or Station missions, including the multiple runs required for the antenna design, there cannot be any delays to the schedule. The due date for responses is not extended. Documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet.

These documents will reside on a World Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser application.
