Press release: March 07, 2001, 09:00 (Moscow time) [06:00 UTC]
The operations scheduled on OC [Orbital Complex] “Mir” for March 6 are
complete.
The OC “Mir” onboard systems were checked out, orbit radio monitoring
performed.
The recent telemetry data received during communication sessions confirm:
the complex remains pressurized, the thermal mode is normal, the onboard
systems perform nominal, solar arrays generate enough power.
The OC “Mir” is in free drift and continues its deceleration in upper
atmosphere.
The next status report is scheduled for March 8, 2001.
