Global Leadership

October 16, 2001

10:00 to 11:30 CDT

Madeleine Albright Global Leadership

Leading and managing in an interconnected world is more challenging than
ever. Madeleine Albright will draw on her experiences as our nation’s
first
woman Secretary of State to discuss the future opportunities and challenges
in leading in a global world.
Dr. Albright will speak frankly about the decision making process at the
highest levels and about the impacts of globalization on perceptions of
America and Europe, Asia and the developing world. She will also address
the elements of strong leadership, assembling a winning team, and focusing
on strategic goals, while tracing the connections between American
diplomacy
and American business in the 21st Century.

Where can I view the presentation?

The presentation will be broadcast on JSC television Channel 15 (Ellington
Omni Channel 45). In addition, we’ve reserved Conference Room 256 in
Building 12.

When?

Tuesday, October 16, 2001 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Central Standard
time.

Do I need to sign up in advance?

No need to sign up, however, seating in Room 256 will be first come-first
seated.

I can’t attend. Will the presentation be videotaped?

We strongly encourage attendance during the broadcast as it is an optimal
use of the resources, however, limited copies of the tape will be available
for a two-week period of time after the satellite segment for check-out.
