L-2 ULA Media Update: ULA Atlas V MUOS-5 Set for June 24
The ULA Launch Readiness Review was completed today and everything is progressing toward the ULA Atlas V launch carrying the U.S. Navy’s fifth Mobile User Objective System (MUOS-5) satellite, built by Lockheed Martin. The mission is set to lift off on a ULA Atlas V rocket on Friday, June 24 from Space Launch Comple-41 (SLC-41) at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida. The launch window is 10:30-11:14 a.m. EDT. Today’s L-2 forecast continues to show a 80 percent chance of favorable weather conditions for launch.
