Each year, on October 1, the Space Technology Mission Directorate (STMD) releases its umbrella NASA Research Announcement (NRA) titled “Space Technology Research, Development, Demonstration, and Infusion (SpaceTech-REDDI).” With each release, REDDI includes a table showing those solicitations (appendices) that STMD anticipates to release under the NRA that year, and the timetable for their release. SpaceTech-REDDI-18 was just released and can be found on NSPIRES at http://tinyurl.com/SpaceTech-REDDI-2018.

Individual appendices will provide details of the solicited space technology opportunities, including: specific scope of the work solicited, anticipated budget for awards, number of awards anticipated, proposal due dates, and specific instructions about proposal content and evaluation criteria. Once new appendices are released, interested parties can access them by clicking through the Open Solicitations link at NSPIRES (http://nspires.nasaprs.com) and selecting the particular appendix. Interested proposers should monitor the NSPIRES website or subscribe to the electronic notification system there for notification of the release of new STMD appendices. Any updates to the appendices anticipated to be released under this NRA will be included in the mid-year amendment to the REDDI umbrella NRA and will be available on NSPIRES in the March/April timeframe.
