Joint USAF/NOAA Report of Solar and Geophysical Activity
SDF Number 341 Issued at 2200Z on 07 Dec 2010
IA. Analysis of Solar Active Regions and Activity from 06/2100Z
to 07/2100Z: Solar activity was very low. Regions 1131 (N31E03) and
1133 (N15E31) remained quiet and stable.
IB. Solar Activity Forecast: Solar activity is expected to be very
low for the next 3 days (08-10 December).
IIA. Geophysical Activity Summary 06/2100Z to 07/2100Z:
The geomagnetic field was quiet.
IIB. Geophysical Activity Forecast: The geomagnetic field is
expected to be mostly quiet for days 1 and 2 (08-09 December), and
quiet to unsettled with the chance for active conditions on day 3
(10 December). The increase in activity is due to the anticipated
effects of a recurrent coronal hole.
