Joint USAF/NOAA Report of Solar and Geophysical Activity
SDF Number 328 Issued at 2200Z on 24 Nov 2010
IA. Analysis of Solar Active Regions and Activity from 23/2100Z
to 24/2100Z: Solar activity has been very low. Region 1127 (N25W34)
has remained stable. A CME was observed by LASCO-C2 off the
southwest limb starting at 24/0336Z. Disk signatures indicate that
the source was a high latitude (south) filament eruption.
IB. Solar Activity Forecast: Solar activity is expected to be very
IIA. Geophysical Activity Summary 23/2100Z to 24/2100Z:
The geomagnetic field was quiet to unsettled. Solar wind speeds
remained between 400 and 500 km/s throughout the period.
