Joint USAF/NOAA Report of Solar and Geophysical Activity
SDF Number 339 Issued at 2200Z on 05 Dec 2007
I A. Analysis of Solar Active Regions and Activity from 04/2100Z to 05/2100Z: Solar activity was at very low levels. Region 977 (S06E13) was the only spotted region on the solar disk. This region declined slightly in area, however, it remains a Dso type spot group.
IB. Solar Activity Forecast: Solar activity is expected to remain very low.
IIA. Geophysical Activity Summary 04/2100Z to 05/2100Z: The geomagnetic field was at quiet levels.
IIB. Geophysical Activity Forecast: The geomagnetic field is expected to remain at quiet levels for the forecast period (06 – 08 December).
