Join the Fall HiRISE Image Targeting Challenge Live Web Chat!

The Fall HiRISE Image Targeting Challenge has begun! The High Resolution Imaging Science Experiment camera, now orbiting Mars, is helping NASA search for signs of water on Mars. Students are again invited to help choose regions of Mars for HiRISE to image. Background information, teacher guides, student activity books and tutorials are available online to help students choose a region. Interested teachers and students are encouraged to log on to the website at: http://quest.nasa.gov/challenges/hirise/  and register to receive more information.

— This week: View the archived Spring 2007 Webcast to meet the team and learn how to use HiWeb

— Tuesday, September 25 @ 10 a.m. Pacific Live Web Chat with HiRISE Team Members

— Mid-November Webcast: Learn how to analyze and write captions for student-suggested images, Date to be announced.
