Job Opening: Director of the Office of Education for NASA’s Dryden Flight Research Center

NASA currently is seeking interested applicants for the position of Director of the Office of Education at NASA’s Dryden Flight Research Center located on Edwards Air Force Base in California. The Director of Education will work out of an office in the AERO Institute in Palmdale, Calif.

The incumbent manages the budget and activities of the DFRC education office on behalf of the center director and supervises the staff of civil servants while coordinating the activities of contractor personnel. Other duties include building relationships with members of the education community; managing educational activities that introduce the application of science, technology, engineering and mathematics for student learning; and evaluating the effectiveness of the center’s education program.
