Center Town Hall on Return to Moon and VPP: May 8, 10 a.m. in N201

Office of the Center Director

MESSAGE FROM THE CENTER DIRECTOR

Please join me for a Center Town Hall Meeting on Wednesday, May 8, 2019, at 10:00, in the N201 Syvertson Auditorium. The Town Hall will start with an update from me on the Agency and Center activities related to our return to the Moon by 2024, followed by an opportunity to ask questions. We will conclude the Town Hall with a brief ceremony to celebrate our return to the Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) Star status certification and the raising of the VPP flag in front of Bldg. 200.

The VPP is a program of the U.S. Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety & Health Administration, for organizations that implement safety and health measures that keep injury and illness rates below the Bureau of Labor Statistics rates for their industry. The Star status is the highest award.

Employees are encouraged to attend the Town Hall in person and may submit questions in person and online via our Conferences i/o tool (https://arc.cnf.io/).

If you’re unable to attend in person, the Town Hall will be televised, via IPTV, which only is available on IPTV set-top boxes and on desktop Windows PC computers through a wired ARCLAN private connection (i.e., IPTV does not broadcast on wireless or VPN). For viewing on your desktop Windows PC computer, navigate via Internet Explorer or Safari to https://eztv.arc.nasa.gov/eztv , select the Ames IPTV Group, and then choose channel #100 N201 Auditorium.

NOTE: Due to known issues between IPTV and web browsers on Mac computers, you are encouraged to attend in person in N201 or the Mega Bites Cafeteria.

For viewing in converted conference rooms using the IPTV set-top box, press the MENU button on your remote, and select the corresponding channel.

For help installing or troubleshooting IPTV on a desktop Windows PC computer, please contact the IT Support Center (ITSC), at 650-604-2000, or via email to: mailto:arc-help@nasa.gov
