Solicitation Number: NNH21ZDA016L

Release Date: July 8, 2021

Response Date: August 27, 2021

The Research and Analysis (R&A) program of NASA’s  Earth Science Division (ESD) requests input from the Minority Serving Institution (MSI) community on their interest in increasing the participation in surface-based measurements that constitute part of ESD’s observational portfolio, in particular the Aeronet, Pandora, and precipitation measurement validation networks. The information requested should address the extent to which MSIs might participate and inform the development of a potential future research solicitation.

A response to this Request for Information (RFI) does not guarantee that NASA will include submitted content into a potential solicitation. Should NASA release any solicitation, it will follow all NASA rules and regulations. The RFI responses will assist R&A program managers to develop a potential solicitation that will be able to be suitably addressed in any proposals by faculty, staff, and/or administrators from interested MSIs.

This RFI primarily seeks responses from individuals at Minority Serving Institutions (MSIs).
