2015 Call for Abstracts

The International Astronautical Federation (IAF) is pleased to open a call for abstracts for the 2015 IAF-SUAC International Student Workshop.

 

The International Astronautical Federation and the Space University Administrative Committee (SUAC) organizes for the second time, an international student workshop, this time, in cooperation with the Israel Institute of Technology – Technion, Asher Institute in conjunction with the 66th International Astronautical Congress (IAC), 12 – 16 October 2015 in Jerusalem, Israel.

 

The workshop will be held on Sunday 18 October 2015 at the Israel Institute of Technology- Technion, Asher Institute in Haïfa, Israel.

 

Students will present their research in front of an assembly of peers and senior space experts on the following topics:

Spacecraft  Formation Flying

 

Astrodynamics

International cooperation

Small satellites

Distributed Space Missions for Earth System Monitoring

The best presentation will be awarded.

 

During the day, you will have the opportunity to:

 

Visit laboratories

Hear a presentation from Asher Institute

Exchange with students from Israel and from all over the world

Watch interactive presentations

Hear oral presentations

Please, note that you would depart Jerusalem on Saturday, and spend a night in Haifa.

The International Astronautical Federation (IAF) will cover the costs for the accommodation, and transportation from Jerusalem to Haifa and from Haifa to the airport.
