One week before the launch of Giove, the first satellite of the Galileo system, this Video News Release provides a concise compilation of pre-event footage required to cover the launch.

In addition to images of launch preparations in Baikonur and 3-D computer graphics, also new soundbites by ESA’s Galileo Manager, Javier Benedicto, have been included.
