Flight 142: Ariane 5 receives its satellite payloads
Preparations for Arianespace’s seventh commercial Ariane 5 launch continue
on schedule for the mission’s planned July 12 liftoff with a dual satellite
payload.
The BSAT-2b television broadcast satellite was installed atop the launcher
on July 4, followed the next day by the Artemis experimental
telecommunications spacecraft and its protective payload fairing.
