Field Report July 1, 2002 – NASA Haughton-Mars Project
By: Dr. Pascal Lee
The weather closed in early this morning, with rain and fog.
We ended up not being able to launch to, let alone put-in on,
Devon today. Instead, we joined in with Resolute Bay residents
in Canada Day festivities and met with various community leaders.
We also hired a few more students for the summer. Our cargo, now
stored at the Polar Shelf hangar, is all set to go. Maybe tomorrow.
