Expedition Six Conducts FOOT Session Tuesday

Expedition Six Commander Ken Bowersox performed another session with the Foot/Ground Reaction Forces During Spaceflight, or FOOT, experiment aboard the International Space Station on Tuesday. FOOT studies muscle and bone mineral loss in microgravity. In other science activity, the crew took images for the Crew Earth Observations program and checked a Russian science payload.

The Expedition Six crewmembers also prepared for their upcoming spacewalk, which is slated to occur on Jan. 15 and participated in an education event with Channel One in Los Angeles, Calif.
