Expedition 12 Arrives Back on Earth Aboard Soyuz TMA-7

Expedition 12 has left the International Space Station after six-months and has returned to Earth.
Commander Bill McArthur and Flight Engineer Valery Tokarev undocked their Soyuz TMA-7 spacecraft at 4:28 p.m. EDT. Brazil’s first astronaut Marcos Pontes, who arrived at the station with Expedition 13, is headed home with Expedition 12.
They landed in Kazakhstan at 7:48 p.m. EDT
Expedition 13 Commander Pavel Vinogradov and Flight Engineer Jeff Williams are now the sole residents aboard the space station. A third crewmember, European Space Agency astronaut Thomas Reiter, is scheduled to join Expedition 13 no earlier than July aboard Space Shuttle Discovery.
