Root cause of the inability to complete the fitchecks is attributed to late addition of tools to the flight and hardware logistics disconnects and repairs. The EVA community agreed that these open fitchecks are low risk. A total of 55 fitchecks remain open for STS-104.

Decision: Approve.

This CCBD requests waiving the useful life of I-440 EEH S/N’s 1057, 1059, 1061, 1062 and 1063. This recommendation is based on actual cycles vs. the cert cycle model, material acceptability and the addition of a "one time" inspection and performance test per YTN 1273.

Decision: Hold pending update to waiver to include existing HSWL EMUM which captures all details of waiver and receipt of approved YTN.
