EUROCKOT’s MOM Daily No. 12

Cosmodrome Plesetsk, June 19 (L-11):

There is currently not much to be monitored by the customer regarding the LV
operations as the Khrunichev team is performing electrical checks before
encapsulation. In addition, no SC operations are to be performed, currently,
as the spacecrafts of the MOM launch do not require any telemetry to be
forwarded through the Launch Vehicle, e.g. into the undertable room at the
launch pad.

Therefore, we are more and more transferring our office capabilities to the
Hotel Rockot in Mirny. This is easily possible, as the hotel provides its
own LAN computer network with sockets in each room as well as phone, fax and
meeting rooms. Main activities now are final adjustments of the launch day
operations, communication interfaces etc.

As it looks, that finally the summer is coming through, a small walk along
the Lake Mirny is very attractive, too. The lake is about three minutes away
from the hotel.
