ESA TV Service transmission in week 7 April 2003
The ESA TV transmissions of week 7 April 2003 cover tomorrow’s Ariane 5 launch and Mars Express, ESA’s upcoming mission to the Red Planet.
V160, the next flight of Ariane 5, is scheduled for the night 8-9 April and the ESA TV Service will transmit twice a summary of the Arianespace launch transmission, in time for breakfast news programmes on 9 April.
The second ESA TV item of the week will look at the transport of Mars Express from Toulouse in France to the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazachstan, from where a Soyuz launcher will put it into space, in June 2003. Transmissions are on 11 and 12 April.
