On 27 May the Ministers responsible for space activities in the 15 Member States of the European Space Agency ESA, and of Canada will meet in Paris, at ESA’s Head Office, to take decisions on the restructuring of the Ariane
launcher sector, to restore the competitiveness of Ariane 5 and to take further steps in the preparation of future launchers.

The ESA TV Service will transmit all conference press briefings, which will be chaired by Ms. Edelgard Bulmahn, Germany’s Minister for Research, and M. Antonio Rodot-, ESA Director General:

12:00 GMT: Lunchtime progress press briefing meeting (recorded)

15:00 GMT: Final press conference (live). If it is delayed beyond 15:00 GMT, an announcement slate will indicate the start time.

The audio will be in international sound/no simultaneous translation will be provided.
