This ESA TV Exchanges feed is transmitted by the European Commission’s “Europe by Satellite” (EbS) service. EbS has started to carry ESA TV Service programme items inside a special ESA TV Exchanges slot on Tuesday and Friday mornings.

ESA, the European Commission and Eurocontrol are working together to develop EGNOS, a system to make the US-American GPS navigation system even better. Originally developed for commercial aircraft navigation, EGNOS is also of potential benefit for car navigation. This programme shows the first tests of Egnos in Fiat’s test centre near Torino, Italy, and outlines the benefits of EGNOS. The 4-minute A-roll with split audio and English voice-over is complemented by a 10-minute B-roll.
