ESA TV Service Future Transmissions

With the imminent launch of Mars Express on the 02 June, the future ESA TV Transmissions will focus on the European science mission to the Red Planet are detailed below, please visit the ESA TV Website http://television.esa.int for more information.

This Friday, 16 May, sees the transmission of the fourth programme on Mars Express, which looks at the operational challenges of sending a spacecraft to another planet.

Friday’s transmission will be complimented the following week on Tuesday, 20 May, with the final story on Mars Express, the history of Martian exploration, focusing on what we already know about the Red Planet from previous missions.

The following week will also see the transmission of pre-event footage for the next Ministerial Council Meeting, scheduled for the 27 May. The ESA TV Service will transmit a Video News Release on Friday, 23 May, to provide background footage on the meeting where the future of Europe’s launchers will be discussed.

The ESA TV Service will cover both the Mars Express Launch and the Press Conference of the Ministerial Council Meeting Live. Detailed information about these transmissions will be e-mailed and posted on the website next week.
