NASA has postponed the launch of shuttle mission STS-98 to the International Space Station until 6 February at the earliest. The reason is some loose cables between the shuttle and its boosters that were detected during routine tests.

The ESA TV Service has therefore changed the programme for this week, as follows:

17-Jan-01 14:00-14:30

Mir compilation

Background footage for the launch of the de-orbiting vehicle, on 18 January

18-Jan-01 14:00-14:30

Cluster – a beautiful day

The film of the rebuild of the mission lost on Ariane 501

19-Jan-01 14:00-14:30

A Year of Weather That Was

One year Meteosat images compressed into time-laps recordings

The updated schedule, also for next week, has been posted on the ESA TV Service Website.

The STS-98 Crew News Conference scheduled for 17 January will now be transmitted on 4 February.
