ESA TV Live Coverage-14/11/01-ESA Ministerial Council Day 1

Tomorrow sees the start of the ESA council meeting at ministerial level. During the 14 and 15 November, the ministers responsible for space activities in the fifteen ESA member states and Canada gather in Edinburgh to set the course for Europe’s space programmes over the period ahead. They will be invited to endorse the next stages of a series of ongoing programmes and to commit to the start of new programmes that will keep Europe at the forefront of space activities.

Tomorrow, the ESA TV Service will transmit live the following press briefings and conferences. Please note that some of the times listed below maybe subject to last minute changes. The satellite parameters are listed below and the ESA TV service will be transmitting on this frequency continuously between 11:00 and 19:00 GMT with regularly updated information slates.

13:15-13:30 GMT – Live press briefing by Franco Bonacina, spokesperson of ESA Director General

16:00-17:00 GMT – Live press conference with: Romano Prodi, (President EC), Edelgard Bulmahn (Chairwoman Ministerial Council and German Minister of Research and Education) and Antonio Rodota (ESA Director General)

18:15-18:30 GMT – Live press briefing by Franco Bonacina
