ESA TV Footage — info on feed on 7 March 2001
The first ESA TV Footage feed will be transmitted on
7 March 2001
11:00-12:00 GMT
Please note the new transmission parameters below.
The feed will include the following three items:
1. Mir de-orbit Video File (30 minutes, 11:00 GMT): Extensive background footage on the history of Mir and its forthcoming de-orbiting. The re-feed includes a slightly shortened B-roll compared to the original feed of 26 February. The A-roll carries split audio tracks and English voiceover, and the B-roll has slates with captions.
2. Lunar Explorers (4 minutes, 11:30 GMT): On 8-10 March, the Lunar Explorer Society meets in the Paris Palais de la DÈcouverte to present ESA’s missions to the Moon and the planets. Today’s transmission includes the A-roll from the feed 27 February. The A-roll carries split audio tracks and Englosh voiceover.
3. STS-102 B-roll (15 minutes, 11:40 GMT): This NASA-edited B-roll includes pre-event on the Shuttle mission scheduled for launch on 8 March. The feed includes 3-D graphics on the mission operations, G/V’s of payload preparations and recent in-orbit footage of the International Space Station. The B-roll carries no audio and has slates with captions.
